He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Haines and Ruth Haines (Swayne); his sons, Donald P. Haines and Dennis Haines; and his brothers, Theodore, Frank and Kenneth Haines.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Haines (Delawder); his sons, Stephen Haines of Taneytown and Wesley Haines (Kelly) of Taneytown; and his sister Barbara Shipley (Larry) of Westminster. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
