With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudius Elmore Jr. (Taneytown, Maryland), born in Herndon, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudius Sr and Vincie Eveline Elmore, Sr. (Spencer); his spouse Ruth Elmore (Bosley); and his brother Hershel Elmore. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Elmore (Baker); his children, Claudius C. Elmore III (Joni) of Parkville, MD and Lisa Elmore Johnson (Mark) of Parkton, MD; his stepsons, Jeff Devilbiss (Jen Hedrick) of Hanover, PA and Brian Devilbiss (Leah Bowers) of Gettysburg, PA; his siblings, John Elmore (Peggy) of Freeland, MD, Spencer Elmore of Bel Air, MD and Betty Sue Foell of Bel Air, MD; his grandchildren, James Elmore of Timonium, Angela Johnson of Olympia, WA and Aaron Johnson (Eleni Giorgos) of Baltimore; his stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, William Devilbiss, Dylan and Cooper Roberts; and his great grandchild Norah Wren Giorgos-Johnson.
