With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cherie Barnett of Taneytown, Maryland, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence "Tommy" Phillips and Vivian J. Phillips; her grandparents, Howard, Elma Shoemaker, Thomas and Cleva Phillips; her stepgrandfathers, E. Thornton Shoemaker and Walter Stonesifer; her husband Alan L. Barnett; her uncle William Stonesifer of Westminster; and her cousins, Doreen Capece of Westminster, Denise Stonesifer of Reisterstown and Zentz.
