Charles Odell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Odell of Taneytown, Maryland, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Odell and Edna Odell (Faulkner); his son David Odell; and his siblings, Mildred Hook, Marjorie Wetherbee-Karanikolas, Harry "Bud" Odell, James Odell, Edna and Dwight Odell.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Odell (Williamson); his children, Charles D. Odell and Kelly Odell (Andrew Dee) of Hansville, WA; and his grandchildren, Ryann Odell, Charles Kyle Odell (Bailey), Daryn Odell and Riley Odell. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck's name to the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, to which Chuck was a member for 80 years, joining when he was only 13 years old. Donations may be made at http://www.suvcw.org.
