He was predeceased by: his parent Fred L. Brooks Sr.; his son Terrance A. Brooks; and his brother Fred L. Brooks Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Anna Lucille Millberry Brooks; his spouse Patricia A. Brooks; his children, Alisande Y. Brooks of Frederick and Jarvis L. Brooks of Hagerstown; and his siblings, Dorothy Brown of New Windsor and Leon Brooks of Union Bridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses c/o Hartzler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 249, New Windsor, MD 21776.
