Harry Packard Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harry Packard of Takoma Park, Maryland, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Harry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Harry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Harry leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Hap" Packard and Catherine "Kate" Packard. He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Pamela and Kristin; his wife Brooke; and his brother Hugh. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Damascus American Legion Post 171 (10201 Lewis Dr, Damascus, MD 20872).

He was a long-time member of the Chestertown Lions Club and supporter of the Sultanna Education Foundation.
