He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Zimmerman Ossi; his children, Gabriel P. (Leah) of Silver Spring, MD, Damien P. (Rebecca) of Greenbelt, MD and Adrian J. (Lisa Çakmak) of Chicago, IL.; his grandchildren, Maddie, Jack, Lucy, Nolan, Chloe, Hope, Jude, Freddy and Joey; his siblings, Paul A. (Betty) of Cary, NC, Michael J. (Jacqueline) of Cary, NC, Mary D. of Rockville, MD, John C. (Catherine) of Germantown, MD and Gregory J. (Lien) of Potomac, MD.; and his parents, Anthony Joseph Ossi, Sr. and Lucille Schorr Ossi. He was also cherished by Uncle Joe to his twenty beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's name to the National Brain Tumor Society's Meningioma Research Fund, or to Friends of Sligo Creek.
