He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Souter and Mildred M. Bastiansen Souter; his wife Sara Nash Souter; and his sister Barbara Wright. He is survived by: his children, Maren Sompayrac (Bill) and Rick Souter (Mary); and his granddaughters, Lily Souter, Anna and Gracie Sompayrac.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
