He is survived by: his wife Edith Koontz; his children, Sherry Resch (Bob), Susan Pajak (Milton), Wayne Koontz (Sandy) and Brian Koontz; his grandchildren, Bobby Resch, Jessica Resch, Lauren Stroup, Rachael Koontz, DJ Doody and Eric Koontz; and his great grandchildren, Jacqueline Miles, Nathaniel Miles, Lexi Pajak, Levi Pajak, Ava Stroup, Bella Pajak, Ryleigh Koontz and Adalyn Koontz.
