It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth E. Pickett (Sykesville, Maryland), who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Russell Pickett and Bertha Kirk Pickett (Reter); and his brother Elwood Pickett. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lea Linton of Mt. Airy; his daughters, Kimberly Ellen Bradshaw and Dawn Michele Leijon; his son-in-law Marten Leijon; his grandchildren, Andrew Bradshaw, Brandon Bradshaw (Cassie), Lukas Leijon, Edvin Leijon and Linnea Leijon; his great grandchild AnaLisa Bradshaw; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Pickett, Sandy Holmes, Diann Linton, Sue Spencer, Pat Holmes, Jimmy Linton and Wayne Spencer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
