It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry L. Brightwell of Sykesville, Maryland, born in Gladewater, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Brightwell and Lucy Guin Brightwell. He is survived by: his close friend Georgia Hodges; his children, Brenda Kalivoda and Danny Brightwell; his brother Lanny Brightwell; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Heather.
