He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betsy Gartland; his parents, Jean Gartland and J. Joseph Gartland, Jr.; his daughter Jenna (Anthony Salter); his siblings, Michael Gartland (Karen), Scott Gartland, Eric Gartland, Wendy (Keith Hundertmark) and Christian Gartland (Stephanie'); his goddaughters, Tabitha Thomas, Malissa Gartland, Devony Gartland and Corina; and his nieces and nephews, Katie, Shelbe, Nick, Audrey, Louis, Chase and Kyle.
