He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Austin and Emily Catherine Waters Becker. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Becker; his children, Robin Calambro (Philip), Kathy Hardesty (Keith) and Grant Becker (late Patricia Nylin-Becker); his grandchildren, Devin Connor (Matthew), Chelsea Calambro, Matthew Hardesty (Natalie), Lindsay Chasen (Kyle) and Kendall Hardesty; his great grandchild Chloe Connor; his siblings, Edward, Jr. (Reds), Daniel, Philip, Robert, Donald, William, Emily, Shirley, Helen and Catherine; and his sister-in-law Esther Becker. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home (6028 Sykesville Rd, Eldersburg, MD 21784). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
