Elise Fox Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elise Fox of Sykesville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Blanton and Ruby Morris Clay; her son Craig Rainey; and her sister Opal Kazain Zerk. She is survived by: her daughter Regina'Jean'Baker (Jack) of Finksburg; and her siblings, Ester Blanton (Jean) of Illinois, Elva Mueller (Conrad) of Florida, Brisco Whitaker (Becky) of Florida and Lola Burnette (Gary) of Georgia. She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home (6028 Sykesville Rd, Eldersburg, MD 21784). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
