He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Arthur Barnes and Carla B. Barnes; his wife Debra R. Barnes; his brothers, James, George and Donald Barnes; and his daughter Carrie Barnes.
He is survived by: his daughter Trasie Barnes Davis (Mike); his grandchildren, Kristan Wroten, Nicole Wroten and Greg Wroten, Jr.; and his sister Donna Barnes. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
