He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his brothers, Merrill and William (Bill); his sons, Gary (Rhonda), John (Cheryl) and Andrew (Jill); his grandchildren, Liepha, Whitney, Olivia and Grace; his son Charles David, Jr; and also Chuck. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Class of 1956 Endowed Scholarship Fund at Stevens Institute of Technology.
