It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Devone Wright (Sykesville, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George A. Wright, Sr.; her parents, Eli S. A. Nicodemus and Margaret Nicodemus; her daughter Donna; and her siblings, Shirley and George.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Smith (Mike) and George "Buddy" Wright Jr. (Denise); her grandchildren, Steven (Katelyn Smith), Justine (Justin Mathis), Valerie (Chet Rockwood), Matthew (Cheyenne Smith) and Emily Wright; her great grandchildren, Kyliee, Madison, Logan, Carly, Abigail Mathis, Carson, Corbin Rockwood, Kace, Virginia Smith and Eli Smith; and her sisters, Kitty Nicodemus, Mary Lescalleet, Irene Renner and Bonnie Wright.
