He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edwards and Kathaleen Edwards (Davis); and his brother Harry Edwards, III. He is survived by: his wife Kay Edwards (Weeks); his children, Richard Edwards Jr. (Bonnie) of Oakland, Ronald Edwards (Misuzu) of Buchanan, TN and Cynthia Steyer (Jerry) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Steven Edwards, Brian Edwards, David Steyer, Nathan Steyer, Amy Sharpless, Leanna Edwards and Eric Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Kane, Peyton, Jimmy Jr., Reese, Reagan, Briley, Cawaan, Audrey, Calvin and Dalton.
