With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Charles Guthrie Sr. of Swanton, Maryland, born in Oakland, Maryland, who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Shirley Elvira Guthrie (Holland); his wife Virginia Ihrig; and his son Michael C. Guthrie, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Teter (Andrew) and Christy Knight (Daniel) of Cumberland, MD; and his siblings, Steven Guthrie of Crellin, MD, Christine Alexander and Sheila Kitzmiller of Terra Alta, WV. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
