He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn W. Denton and Louise Ireland Denton; his wife Doris Hance Denton; and his brothers, Carl and Jack Denton.
He is survived by: his children, Andrews Air Force Base, Don Denton (Jean) of Washington, DC, Dale Denton (Morgan) of Washington, DC and Nancy Fowler (Tim) of Sunderland, MD.; his grandchildren, Jenna Madani (Sia), Jessica Whitesell (Rod), Kim Fowler, William Denton, Zachary Denton and Shelby Denton; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jay, Emily Whitesell, Oliver and Isabel Madani; and his sister Iris Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
