It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Ferris of Sunderland, Maryland, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Ferris and Helen [Knowles] Ferris; his wife Claudia Ferris of Sunderland, MD; his children, Carolyn Dailey (Eric Dailey) of Bethlehem, GA, Tom Ferris (Connie Ferris) of Loganville, GA, Christine Mauger (Gary Mauger) of Cornelius, NC, Robert Ferris (Deidre Ferris) of Sterling, VA and Kelly Freeman (Tom Freeman) of Partlow, VA; and his grandchildren, Sara Bloom, Travis Ferris, Shelby Dailey, Caitlin Dailey, Emily Dailey, Ryan Dailey, Bryce Petitt, Shaina Ferris, Cheyanne Freeman, Austin Freeman, Brooke Nolte, Carlie Baker and Chad Baker. He was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
