She is survived by: her children, Ronald T. Powell, Jr. and Asiah M. Forbes; her mother Frances Smith; her stepfather Charlie Smith; and her siblings, Marlette Waddy (Mark), Jacqueline Forbes, Robin Lewis (Solomon), Tracey Gray (Gene), William R. Forbes, Lawrence Forbes (Tanina), Kevin Forbes, William Forbes, Jr. (Stepfanie) and Joe Louis Dean, Jr.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
