It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claresa McConnell (Suitland, Maryland), who passed away on May 19, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Dock McConnell; her son Keith; her grandsons, Derrick Matthews and Keenan Vest; and her siblings, John, Eugene, Clarence, William, Essie Mae, Margaret and Mildred.
She is survived by: her children, Cecelia Livingston (Winfield), Dock, Gregory, Robert Sr. (Sheila) and Michael (Karen); her sisters, Rosetta Townsel and Mary Benson; and her grandchildren, Dominica Matthews, Grergory McConnell Jr., Robert McConnell Jr., Shaquita Brent, Shana Murray, Tiffani Holt, Jerel McConnell, Sean Livingston (Nicole), Shari McConnell, Paul Phifer and Jason McConnell (Jennifer). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
