He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. Gompf and Jane R. Gompf; and his brother Timothy R. Gompf. He is survived by: his wife Carole J. Gompf of Stevensville, MD; his son Jeffrey A. Gompf (Courtney); his brother John P. Gompf (Linda); and his granddaughter Tessa Paige Gompf.
