Marguerite Ruth Cannon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2022, at the age of 98, Marguerite Ruth Cannon of Stevensville, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James S. Downie and Sarah B. Downie (Wilson); her husband James W. Cannon; and her siblings, Evelyn Downie, William "Bill" Downie (Marge) and James Downie (Mary Lou).
She is survived by: her sister Sarah B. Wallace of Maryland; her daughters, Lynne Courtney of Texas and Sandra Cannon of New Jersey; and her grandchildren, Bianca Sell of Maryland, Adrienne Bishop of Texas, Heather Courtney of Maryland, Todd Courtney (Holly) of Maryland and Matt Cannon (Nicole) of New Jersey. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
