Laura Cook Jones Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Cook Jones of Stevensville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Lee Jones; her grandchildren, Megan Jones and Kevin Jones (Dana); her great grandchildren, Liam and Parker; her granddaughter Samantha Jones Chafe (Nathaniel); her parents, Robert Cook and Elizabeth Cook; and her sisters, Jean, Susan, Candace C. Short and Sally Myers. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wye Bible Church (115 Narnia Dr, Grasonville, MD 21638). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Stevensville Cemetery (808 Main St, Stevensville, MD 21666).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Laura to her church, Wye Bible.
