As John Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Joseph. Though John Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Francis Weisman and Mary Patricia Weisman (Smith); his children, Michael (Jennie), Jennifer and Kathryn; and his siblings, Robert, Thomas, Daniel, Carol and Mary. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home (106 Shamrock Rd, Chester, MD 21619). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Stevensville Cemetery (808 Main St, Stevensville, MD 21666).
