He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abbott and Dorothy Shipley Abbott. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel, Gabrielle, Valerie and Jessie Abbott; his siblings, John Abbott (Dawn), Janice Spencer (Joseph) and Joyce Rill (Brian); and his former wife Nancy Kaefer Abbott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
