He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monger and Marie Monger; and his cousin Steuart (Doris Grimm). He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Monger (Bear); his daughters, Jodie Gray (Mark) of Punta Gorda, FL and Janice Monger (James Thomas) of Stevensville, MD; his granddaughter Emily Gray (Rosie Monger) of Washington, DC; his nephew Scott (Diana Monger); his niece Sheri Monger of Ephrata; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zach, Logan, Isaiah, Karli, Tyler and Brooke; his cousins, Dennis Grimm (Betty Jo) and Calvin Frost; and also, Sterling, Susie, Sherry, Debbie, Dorinda, Doug and Dana.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 278 (800 Romancoke Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666). The military honors will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Conestoga Memorial Park (95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, MD 17603).
