He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thompson Sr. and Louise Thompson. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Mark Thompson and Greg Douglas Thompson; his significant other Diane; his grandchildren, Owen Joseph Thompson, Leyton Charles Thompson and Anna Elizabeth Thompson (Pamela Thompson); his daughters-in-law, Elisabeth Holscher Thompson and Samantha Elizabeth Thompson; his significant other's daughter Susan Elizabeth Gergar-Taylor; and also Lily Alexis Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
