It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Hill Sr. (Spencerville, Maryland), born in Sandy Spring, Maryland, who passed away on March 17, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. and Alice V; his spouse Elsie V. Hill; and his siblings, Charles, James, Richard, Percy Hill, Theodore Sterling and Denise Gregg.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley, Elwood, Donna, Jessie, Gregory and Douglas; his wife Joann Hill; his children, Christine (William), Howard Jr., Richard Sr. (Lanessa) and Lia (Phillip); his grandchildren, Jerika (Curtis), Richard Jr., Darrnell, Savannah, Courtney, Ayana, Sydney, Izaiah, Jasmine, Wayne, Tyler, Lindsey, Garrett, Kandace, Derrick and Rhianna; and his siblings, Louise Darden, Laura Hill, Frances Sterling, Patricia Sterling, Howard Clark (Lue) and Larry Holland (Joanna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; and friends.
