He was predeceased by: his brother Dennis Scherr; and his parents, Sylvan Scherr and Lena Scherr. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Scherr; his daughters, Samantha Kieley (Eric), Mindy Stiffler (Ray) and Amanda Laurier (Fabien); his sister Lisa Scherr (Tom Sinor); his siblings-in-law, Peggy Scherr, Kurt Vogt (Cheryl Wolff), Michael Vogt (Rebecca Johns), Steven Vogt (Kristy) and Edward Vogt (Yori Ecolano); and his grandchildren, Paxton, Shayna, Julia, Darien, Jonathan and Maliau.
