She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Boehles and Marlene Dieter Boehles. She is survived by: her husband James T. Buechler; her stepsons, Jay Targaryen-Buechler (Leigh) and Steve Buechler (Karen); her stepgrandchild Izzy; her stepchild Ally Buechler; her sisters, Christine Sadler of Littlestown, PA and Katherine "Kitty" Boehles; her nieces, Ashley Sadler of Glenville, PA and Katrina Boehles; her great-nephew Oliver; and her pet Prince Apollo.
