It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Chapman Newcomer of Solomons, Maryland, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newcomer and Elsie Newcomer; his spouses, Rose Mary Troise and Watts; his daughter Elsie May Newcomer; and his siblings, Candace Newswanger, John Newcomer, Mayalene McClintock, Herman Newcomer, Patricia Straub, Priscilla Smith and Dwight Newcomer.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Watts, Kathleen Fischer (Lee) of Thorndale and Mary Jo Geisz (Andy) of Solmons, MD; and his siblings, Nancy Walker of Friedens, PA, Ellen June Womer of Leechburg, PA and Larry Newcomer of Asheboro. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
