It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kay Norton of Solomons, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 21, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reuben Francis Leatherwood and Sarah Estelle Derrick; her children, Paul F Norton (Lori) of California, MD and Kay N. Sears (Bill) of Littleton, CO; her grandchildren, Travis Norton of Carbondale, CO, Savannah Norton of Olympia, WA, Eleanor Sears of Houston, TX and Grant Sears of Parker, CO.; her former husband Philip F. Norton; her brother Donald; and her son Jeffrey.
In lieu of flowers, a donation would be welcomed at Joan's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital.
