She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Hofmann and Maria Hofmann (Stadler); and her son David Wilhelm Metz. She is survived by: her husband Klaus Wilhelm Metz; her daughters, Susan Marie Beckman (Harry) of Oakland, MD and Laura Elizabeth Zirzow (Michael) of Centreville, VA; her grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Ashley, Sarah and Harrison; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Eleanor, Charlotte, Levi, Amelia, Abby, Logan and Cadence.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home–lusby (20 American Ln, Lusby, MD 20657). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home (20 American Ln, Lusby, MD 20657).
