He is survived by: his children, Grace Parker, Virgenea Wharton (Jerome, Jr.), Wanda Mitchell (Lamont), Amanda Milbourne, Ralph Byrd, Lawrence Byrd and Gary Shepherd; his siblings, Mary Jane Parker, Rosalee Cropper (Sammy), Willie Parker (Eunice), Lester Parker (Bernice), Alonza Parker, Sr., Sylvester Parker (Nellie), Clifton Parker (Edna) and Russell Parker; and his close friend Laverne Smith. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
