She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scarborough and Emma Taylor Scarborough; her husband James J. P. Baker, Jr.; and her son James. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Rivera of Snow Hill, Peggy Windsor of Snow Hill and Hope Waidner of Snow Hill; her siblings, Walter "Buck" Scarborough (Sylvia) of Salisbury, Jimmy Scarborough (Chip Futrell) of Wilson, NC and Flora Brittingham (Wayne) of Pocomoke; her nieces, Wendy Bowman and Carla Barfield; and her nephew Tom Brittingham.
