She was predeceased by: her parent William Arthur Ewell. She is survived by: her parent Hattie Ewell (Corbin); her husband Elder Edward Bratten of Snow Hill; her children, Lucinda Bratten of Hebron, MD, Carmella Powell of Hebron, MD and Edward Bratten, Jr. (Felecia) of Hebron, MD; her grandchildren, Juan, Gregory, Tyshieka, Makhai Bratten, Miracle, Kareem, Samuel, Nakia Powell and Ashley Snead; her great grandchildren, Demarieon Jr., Latrez Jr., Nyla Jr. and Trevon, Jr.; her siblings, Betty Connor, Arthur Ewell and Howard Ewell; her aunt Elaine Harris Hart; her nieces, Phyllis Ewell and Libra Bolden; her nephew Mozell Ewell; her sister Lillie Mae Ewell; and her son-in-law Cleophus Powell. She is also survived by niece she reared as a granddaughter.
