She was predeceased by: her spouse Webster Monroe Chandler, Jr.; her parents, Lida Maddox Outland of Snow Hill, MD and Grover Cleveland Outland of Isle; her son William Outland Chandler; and her siblings, Louise Outland Smith, Jean Outland Chrysler and Grover Cleveland Outland Jr. (Margaret "Teancy" Mathews).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Deal Chandler (Paul Pomplun) of Suffolk, VA, Webster Monroe Chandler III (Lisa Smith Chandler) of Norfolk, VA and John Maddox Chandler (Charlotte Webb Chandler) of Norfolk; her granddaughters, Whitney Deal Chandler of Norfolk, Brynn Chandler Noel (William Hayes Noel) of San Francisco, CA, Jane Carter Chandler, Virginia Maddox Chandler and Nancy Webb Chandler of Norfolk; her great grandchild Evelyn Monroe Noel of San Francisco; and also Margaret Keys. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She made newborn hats and booties and assembled newborn baskets for the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul.
