With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester V. Tindley of Snow Hill, Maryland, born in Newark, Maryland, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Jones and Hattie Tindley; his siblings, Charles A. Tindley, Pete Tindley, Levin Tindley, George Tindley, Sewell Tindley, Edward Tindley, Artilda Purnell, Mary Ethel Tindley and Naomi Purnell; and his grandchild Quashawn Beckett.
He is survived by: his children, Lester Victor Sessoms (Gladys), Louise McKinney, Gail Sessoms and Arlenna Sessoms; his siblings-in-law, William Purnell and Edna Tindley; and his grandchildren, Kionna Sessoms, Keta Schoolfield, Calvin Schoolfield, Carl Anderson, TyKia Beckett, Rhonda Jones, Ronald Jones, Jr. and Tyrone Carey. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
