He was predeceased by: his parents, James Purnell and Mildred Purnell; and his brothers, Charles Purnell and Marvin Purnell. He is survived by: his siblings, Leon Purnell of Wilmington, Aaron Purnell, Joseph Purnell of St, Vanessa Clemmons (Michael) of Sharon Hill, PA and Patrick; and his aunts, Clara Collick, Viola Hunter and Yvonne Adams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
