She was predeceased by: her parents, James Meredith Ewell and Elsie Elizabeth Rounds Ewell; and her siblings, Alvin D. Ewell, James Otho Ewell, David Lee Ewell and Dorothy Ewell Bowen.
She is survived by: her sister Irene Ewell Ward (Nathaniel, Sr.) of Mitchellville, MD; her aunt Elaine Harris-Hart of Columbia, MD; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Ewell of Snow Hill, MD and Pearlie Ewell of Joppa, MD. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
