She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Ward and Anne Conner Ward; her husband Sherwood Waters, Sr.; and her sons, Sherwood R. Waters, Jr. and Terry Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Waters and Chris Waters, Sr. (Sheryl); her brother Frank Ward, Sr.; her godsons, Anthony Murray and Eric Sentell Blake; her grandchildren, Cerbrina Davis (Cylon, Jr.) and Chris Waters, Jr. (Kendra); and her great grandchildren, Kyla, Cylon III and Malakai. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snow Hill High School (305 S Church St, Snow Hill, MD 21863). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
