She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakley Dennis of Snow Hill, Maryland. and Ella Harmon of Snow Hill, Maryland.; her children, Ochie Milbourne, Beulah Townsend, George Townsend III and Karl Townsend; and her siblings, Lillian Wharton, Dollie Overton and Arthur Harmon.
She is survived by: her sons, Theodore Townsend (Makita) of Pocomoke City, Maurice Townsend (Sonzenea) of Baltimore, Garry Townsend of Salisbury and Kevin Bratten Sr. (Lavion) of Pocomoke City, MD.. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
