She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester James Larkins and Carrie Turner Larkins; her husband George B. Harmon; her son Walter Townes; and her granddaughter Lisa Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Constance M. Hemby-Lynch (Patrick), Sharon Garland (James) and Donald Townes (Saundra); her stepson George Harmon, Jr. (Elmira); and her daughter-in-law Doris Townes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
