She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Copeland, Sr. and Elmira Anderson Copeland; and her siblings, Marcelina Copeland, Lottie Mae Feddiman and Wesley Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Elwood Copeland (Cora), Earnest Copeland (Octavia), Charles Collins, Rosetta Bratten, Barbara Miles, Polly Miles, Katherine Milbourne (Donald) and Randall Collins; and her siblings, Clarence Copeland, Thomas Copeland, Jr., Lawrence Copeland, Lee Copeland (Laura Ann), David Copeland and Alice Avery (Charles). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
