With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Allen Heydt of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bill Burr. He is survived by: his mother Diane Heydt; his sisters, Terra Lorshbaugh and Tricia Potter (Doug); his nephews, Chris Lorshbaugh and Colton Beckman (Morgan Hoch); his great-nephew Christian Lorshbaugh; and his great-niece Blair Beckman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadfording Christian Academy, or to Troys sisters, Tricia Potter and Terra Lorshbaugh, to help get Troy's poetry published.
