It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Michael Collins of Smithsburg, Maryland, born in Westernport, Maryland, who passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Collins and Agnes May Collins (Hutchinson); and his brothers, William Collins, Joseph Collins and Robert Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Collins; his sons, Thomas M. "Mike" Collins, Jr. (Mary), Richard J. Collins (Vonanita), Steven F. Collins (Jewel) and Donald P. "Pat" Collins (Krystal); and his sister Catherine Cook. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
