He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Geneva Banzhoff Barnhart (McCauley) and Russell Calvin Barnhart, Sr.; his wife Judith Ann Barnhart (Foster); his siblings, Russell Barnhart, Jr., Betty Slick and Emma Dowler; and his sister-in-law June Banzoff.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Barnhart (Kandi) of Hagerstown, Donald Barnhart (Becky) of Hagerstown and Charles Barnhart (Kristie) of Williamsport; and his siblings, Robert "Butch" Barnhart (Carol) of Aberdeen, Carl Banzhoff of Wiliamsport, Ruth Knepper of Hagerstown, Diane Barnhart of Hagerstown and Belle Banzhoff of Smithsburg. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
